Artist Statement

I create pieces where beauty and love can emerge.

Art Title

The title of my artwork is called “in the moment” and it represents stillness. This piece demonstrates a state of being calm, which reflects the way I envision “a better world” having more quiet moments. This work asks for viewers to confront the fact that this world is very fast paced. Life is always one thing after another, but often times we forget that we need silent boring moments also. I knew some things about the enlightenment era prior to this project, and that awareness appears in my artwork through me using art for good and not for evil.
